Patrick is a vocational education and training expert with a strong background in the manufacturing industry and experience working in international environments, emerging markets and donor organisations.
For over fifteen years Patrick has worked as an industry and technical advisor around the world. He has served for seven years the Manufacturing Skills Australia Industry Skills Council as Industry Coordinator and managed a number of capacity building projects for the Asian Development Bank in Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lankan and The Philippines.
Patrick has extensive experience across different industrial and commercial sectors including manufacturing, construction, tourism and hospitality.

Starting his career in South Africa as an industrial welder, Patrick moved through a series of industry-related roles, including working as a welding instructor. Thanks to his strong technical background and his proven ability to understand cultural context, Patrick has been instrumental to the construction of efficient TVET systems worldwide.
Patrick holds a Mechanical Trade Diploma, a National Technical Certificate 4 and a Certificate 4 in Workplace Assessment and Training. He is also qualified in Workplace Assessment and Moderation, Administration and Accreditation and Unit/Competency Standards Development.
