Dr. Johann (Hans) Schustereder is a Senior Education Consultant with extensive experience working with Government institutions, not-for-profit and donor organisations, particularly in the Eastern Europe Region.
Based in Austria, over the past 20 years Hans Schustereder has been leading education projects across Eastern European countries including Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Romania, Macedonia, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
Hans has served as Head of Cooperation at the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture offices in Russia and Ukraine, and as Chief of Education at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) office in Macedonia. He has worked in various capacities for UNDP, UNICEF, Red Cross, World Bank, European Commission, European Training Foundation, Canadian International Development Agency, Global Partnership for Education, Millennium Challenge Corporation,
Hans has proven skills and expertise in:

Starting his career as a German Language assistant in US, Hans is fluent in German, Russian, English, French, Macedonian, Ukrainian and Spanish. His work resulted in over 35 publications including studies, policy papers and tools.
Hans holds a PhD in Philology, a postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies in Education and a number of qualifications including training in public relations, verbal and non-verbal communications, public speaking, negotiation and diplomatic skills, conflict management, introduction to statistics.
