Paul Hemburrow-Sustainable Skills Board Director
Paul Hemburrow is one of our ongoing Board Directors, who has been supporting us since 2012. With over 24 years experience in the resources industry, Paul has worked in multiple commodities and functions.
Paul Hemburrow is the General Manager Operations at BHP’s Mining Area C in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Employed by BHP for nearly 8 years, Paul has held a number of General Manager roles in the iron ore and coal industries. Prior to this, Paul was General Manager at Rio Tinto’s New Zealand Aluminium Smelter.
Paul has been a member of the board of the Resource and Infrastructure Skills Council since 2011, and has a passion for diversity and inclusion.
Paul Holds a B.Sc. From Monash University and an MBA from Queensland University of Technology.
Outside of work, Paul is a keen marathon runner and fly fisherman.
